Real Federación Española de Atletismo (RFEA)
The RFEA (English: Royal Spanish Athletic Federation) is the national governing body for athletics in Spain working under the authority of the Spanish government. Founded in 1918, the RFEA is affiliated to World Athletics, European Athletics, the Iberoamerican Athletics Association, the Mediterranean Athletics Union, World Masters Athletics, European Masters Athletics, and the European Athletics Coaches Association. In 2019 the RFEA had 785 affiliated clubs and 85,602 licensed members.

The RFEA aims to develop, control and organise athletics, defend the moral and material interests of Spanish athletics and to guarantee the representation of its disciplines at the international level. The membership and activities of the RFEA have grown for many years, targeting athletics as performance, entertainment and health tools.
In the I RUN CLEAN project, the RFEA will be responsible for national-level activities in Spain including recruitment of ambassadors, staging workshops and communications.
