Expanding European Athletics’ innovative I RUN CLEANTM anti-doping education programme to reach the grassroots of the sport throughout Europe.
“Historically, anti-doping efforts have focused on the detection and deterrence of doping. There is, however, a growing concern that doping is occurring outside the organised sporting system; giving rise to the belief that the misuse of doping agents in recreational sport has become a societal problem and a public health issue that must be addressed.”

Expanding European Athletics’ innovative I RUN CLEANTM anti-doping education programme to reach the grassroots of the sport throughout Europe.
"Since 2017, European Athletics has helped to educate Europe’s high-level athletes about the dangers of doping and making decisions that reflect the true values of sport through our innovative I RUN CLEANTM e-learning platform. But success in this ongoing battle calls for everyone in the athletics community to play their part. With the help of the Erasmus+ programme, our project team is expanding I RUN CLEANTM to reach new target groups and I invite you to log on, experience it for yourself and learn what you can do to keep athletics - Your Sport for Life - safe, fair and clean.”
